你的英文不會好「到」哪裡去！認識一下「無to族」吧！
考慮一下：
X I want to go to abroad.
學生要說，「我要去國外」。
問題在哪兒？
當然，到一般的地方，我們會說 to:
I have to go ★to★ school now.
(我要去上課。)
I’m going to go ★to★ the department store on Saturday.
(禮拜六我會去百貨公司。)
但很多人會忘記有一組指地方的字，前面不用 to. Abroad (國外)就是其中一個！所以...
√ I want to go abroad.
沒有 to!
哦，要複習別的嗎？好了！最常用錯的「無to族」是：
★ here (這裡)
Can you come here tomorrow?
(明天可以來這裡嗎？)
---- here 前面沒有 to!
★ there (那裡)
I don’t want to go there!
(我不要去那邊！)
---- there 前面沒有 to!
★ home (家)
I’m tired. Let’s go home.
(我好累。我們回家吧。)
---- home 前面沒有 to!
★ upstairs & downstairs (樓上 & 樓下)
Let’s go upstairs. There are more seats up there.
(我們上樓吧，那邊還有位子。)
---- upstairs 前面沒有 to!
★ abroad (國外) & overseas (海外)
My company wants to send me overseas. I’m pretty depressed about it.
(我公司要把我調到海外。這讓我很沮喪。)
---- overseas 前面沒有 to!
★ somewhere (某地), anywhere (任何地方), & nowhere (無地)
We can’t stay here. It’s so hot. Let’s go somewhere!
(我們不能留在這裡，太熱了，我們去別的地方吧！)
---- somewhere 前面沒有 to!
★ inside (裡面) & outside (外面)
Let’s go outside!
(我們去外面！)
---- outside 前面沒有 to!
